Footprints in transit
This body of work began with a simple image. The foot as a trace of movement. A fragment that carries weight, memory, and direction.
I was interested in the idea of passage. What it means to step away from one place and toward another. The foot became less a body part and more a record of presence. A sign that someone has crossed, paused, or continued.
In these works, movement is both personal and collective. The marks left behind speak of departure and return, of belonging and distance. The footprint becomes a reminder that the ground shapes us as much as we shape it.
