Recuerdos de Córdoba

Memories from Córdoba

This chapter began with a night of fishing in Córdoba, by the river, a single moment that opened a wider door. Over time, that first impulse expanded into a larger archive, intimate scenes, street signs, bodies at rest, objects and landscapes that still speak to me from a distance.

These works come from specific memories of my life in Córdoba, but they are shaped to move beyond autobiography. I want the paintings to hold something universal, how a place stays in the body, how memory carries tenderness and weight, belonging and dislocation.

Córdoba appears here as origin and as echo. Not as a postcard, but as a living presence
