Recuerdos de Córdoba

Memories from Córdoba

This chapter returns to the place that continues to shape my work. The images come from specific memories, but they are not attempts to illustrate them. I am interested in how a place stays in the body long after distance has set in.

Córdoba appears here as both origin and echo. Not as a fixed landscape, but as a presence that moves through colour, gesture, and space. The paintings hold tenderness and weight at the same time. They speak of belonging and separation, of what remains when you leave and what follows when you return.

These works begin in memory, but they aim toward something shared. The feeling of carrying a place inside you.
